Australian Treasury - Super consultation paper released on same pay pay
The Government has released a consultation paper in relation to its announcement in the 2023–24 Budget that employers will be required to pay their employees’ superannuation guarantee entitlements on the same day that they pay salary and wages. Subject to the passage of legislation, the measures will commence from 1 July 2026. Comments are due by 3 November 2023.
