Experienced accountant

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal person will be one that has a desire for a long-term career in accounting, shows initiative and has a team/customer orientated attitude.

As a member of our firm you can expect to be involved in the following:

Preparation of BAS/IAS
Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements for a range of entities
Superannuation matters
Payroll matters
Computerised bookkeeping including bank reconciliation (MYOB/Quickbooks/Xero)
Audit of self-managed superannuation funds
ATO liaison and correspondence

Your responsibilities will grow as quickly as you are able to demonstrate your abilities.

We offer both internal structured training on a regular basis on topical subjects as well as off-site training by professional training organisations as appropriate.

Skills & Experience

At least 2 years-experience in a reputable public practice firm
Valid working rights in Australia
Demonstrate a commitment to develop professionally
Be self-motivated
Demonstrate a willingness to learn
Have a strong focus on quality

This is a full-time position; business hours are Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm.

Office junior

The ideal person for the office junior position will be one that has a desire for a long-term career, shows initiative and professionalism, and must have a team/customer orientated attitude.

No previous experience is necessary for this position, although a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to duties are essential.

You will have exposure to various reception and administration duties, including client interaction, phone enquiries and bookings, and computer administration using Microsoft Office and other accounting software.

This position is full time; business hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm.
